Eric Moore got into system administration through a career in science (he has a Phd in chemistry). Computational chemists use a lot of computers. Someone has to fix them, Eric was that guy. He’s been managing clusters of ever-increasing size since the early 90’s.

He’s a big fan of automated systems administration, and does a lot of process automation for Brandorr. He still needs to get his personal machines automated, since counting VM’s, there’s over the magic number of three.

Outside of system administration he teaches Chemistry, tries to get in a little research, and is into gaming (board, computer, and runs an online game).
